What I Do
I made profile, still life, and landscape paintings. My subjects could be people, flowers, cells, tissues, bacteria, or polymers.
The material I use are pastel, oil, and charcoal. I captured the moment of light and emotion from the nature. I like to convey this impression to general audiences in a clear and understandable way. Art should not be a mystery.
Also, I edited photo books for you. I edit the arrangement. All photos will be in good colors and in right tone. You will have a completely different feeling about photo album.
How I Work
If you like to have a profile painting for yourself, or for your beloved family members, I would love to make it for you. Or if you like to have a painting to decorate your house, or your office, I love to make a suitable painting for you.
If it is possible, I like to meet the person or to see his or her photos from different angles,
The time for my work is usually a month. It starts from our meeting and the final check of the painting.
The price will be depended on the materials and the size of the painting. The frame and the delivery cost will not be included.
The delivery time depends on the post system in each country.
Who I Am
I am a scientist, artist, musician, and writer. I was born in Taipei the capital of Taiwan. I grew up in a city jungle. Since I was a kid, I have a strong desire of making paintings. Wherever I have been to, wherever I left a drawing on any possible surfaces. According to my parents and school teachers, this is a bad habit.
This bad habit must be changed, because the society will not allow it. Thereafter, I found science is a complex and creative subject. Based on logic thinking, just likes pigments, I handle them in a good order. I created new compounds, new materials, and new living organisms.
What I Believe
Nowadays, photography is the main and the only tool to capture images and the moments. However, camera can not express emotion and present colors as well as a painting. Artist makes what he/she sees on the paper. Our eyes and brains process in a very fine way of capturing images. The brain compensates the light and the color. Camera can never compete with a human brain. Therefore, the fine art lasts forever.
Here, I would like to introduce my favorite materials for making paintings:
Pastel is a relatively new material for making paintings. Pastel is good in colors. It stays on the paper firmly and it will not fade away easily. I believe pastel is a modern and long-lasting material.
Oil colors are the authentic and standard materials. They can be preserved well for years and so convenient for transportation. They can be expressed in a delicate and fine technique.
Charcoals are the fundamental materials to express and capture the moment. Almost every artist started with charcoals.
